$9.00

Charlot Byj was famous for her impish children both with red hair and otherwise. She did figurines for Hummel, dolls in the same style, plus paper dolls and books for children. Fern Bisel Peat was beloved as the editor and often artist for the magazine CHILDREN\'S PLAYMATE. Here is a reference to some of her work also. The reference is 11 page sides, 3 hole punched for reference notebooks and to add further information. It is one of the early issues of CELEBRITY DOLL JOURNAL, all black and white with photos of the artists and of lots of their work including 4 paper doll pages, 9 covers of paper doll books, figurines, book illustrations and a few dolls. The last page with blank back has 4 paper dolls and these are by Betty Bell Rea adapting Peat art. This is the reference quarterly from August, 1971, no dealer or collector ads , just information that remains useful. Mint from editor-publisher.
