Fine 17th/18thC Spanish Colonial Silver Handled Crucifix!

This wonderful early Spanish colonial handled crucifix is made of heavy gauge silver. It has nice detail with a separate cast silver Christ pinned to the cross at the hands and feet. The iNRE plaque above his head is also separate and pinned to the backing, as are the little relief details in the lower corners. It has a wide open handle pinned to the backside. It dates from the late 17th to the 18th Century and measures approximately 4 + 7/8 inches tall by 3 + ¾ inches wide. It weighs 214 grams or 6.88 troy ounces and is in excellent condition for its age, as can be seen in the photos.
