This Chinese famille verte covered box is decorated with a foo dog scene on the cover with a busy background of butterflies and flowers. The body is also busy with enamel butterflies and flowers. IT dates from the late 18th Century to the early 19th Century and measures approximately 3 inches in overall height, 6 + ½ inches long, and 4 + ¾ inches wide. It is in excellent condition with the exception of some peppering, some wear on the enamel, and a couple glaze pops and two tiny chips on the inside of the cover.
