Fine 19thC American Ribbed Amethyst Glass Jug w/ Applied Handle!

This wonderful early American glass jug is amethyst in color and has a nice form with ribbed swirl body and rolled rim. It has an applied handle, with a pontil scar on the base and it shows honest wear along the foot rim. It dates from the 19th Century and measures approximately 3 + ½ inches tall to the top of the handle by 3 + ¼ inches across including the handle and spout. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
