DESCRIPTIONWe just acquired a small group of 8 nice old Native American jewelry pieces (20s-40s era) from a longtime collector. Please be sure to check the last photo as well as our other sales to see the rest of the items. Nice antique Navajo handforged silver brooch. This is a classic older piece c. 1930s and depicts a thunderbird. It is made of silver, most likely coin standard. It features stamped designs along the edges of the wings and flanking the central turquoise cabochon. The wings feature incised or chiseled lines. If you look along some of the edges, you can see saw marks where this piece was hand-cut. There’s something very elegant about the execution of this design.

CONDITIONExcellent condition. Most of these pieces could use a light cleaning (we prefer not to clean old Native American items) but there is no corrosion, pitting, damage, repairs, or structural damage.
