Excellent antique gilt bronze elephant. Stands 4\" tall with its base. The base appears to be marble or a similar stone. We see 2 very small flea bites to the rim of the base. We have photographed the larger one in photo 12. The elephant has expected wear to its gilt surface and a really great patina. Please note the early square nuts on the bottom of this piece. Very detailed. No cracks, chips damage of repairs to the bronze.
