A stunning Victorian 15ct Gold Turquoise & Pearl set ring, which has a reeded shank and waisted shoulders leading to the wonderful gem set mount, which measures approx\' 14mm by 8mm(please see the detailed close-upphotographs provided, which form an integral part of the item\'s description).
This gorgeous ring is set with two row of fine Seed Pearls set around a central Pearl that is flanked by two rows of Turquoise cabochons(Turquoise was one of the Victorians favourite gemstones and was believed to have a number of properties i.e. If given a Turquoise by a loving friend, that stone would protect the wearer from negative energy and bring good fortune. Turquoise was also the symbol of friendship and it was believed that it would also bring peace to the home).
This fine quality antique ring, which weighs 2.4 grams, is stamped with a full hallmark, as shown, confirming that it is made of solid 15ct Gold and that it was assayed in Birmingham in 1877.Overall it is in great condition with only wear commensurate with age as shown.
