A stunning antique Art Nouveau 15ct Gold Coral & Seed Pearl set Holbein (Pendant/Brooch) that dates to c1895(please study the detailed close-up photographs,which form an integral part of the item\'s description).
This wonderful Holbein is set centrally with a round Coral cabochon in a collet within a sinuous organic openwork Art Nouveau Brooch/ Pendant, which is further decorated with another two smaller Corals & Seed Pearls set in beautiful foliate settings all crafted in finest 15ct Gold
As you would expect this finest quality antique Brooch/Pendant is stamped \'15ct\' on the reverse, as shown, confirming that it is made from solid 15ct Gold. Overall it is in great condition as can be seen from the photographs, with only wear commensurate with age. The Holbein is complete with it\'s Pearl set Bail, a good hinge, pin & secure clasp (both look to be historic replacements) and only requires the addition of a chain should you choose to wear it as a Pendant (has an asymmetric look when hanging).
As previously mentioned this fine antique Holbein, which weighs 3.1 grams, can be worn as either a Pendant or a Brooch, just as you desire, and it has the following dimensions: length (drop) approx\' 2.9cms (including bale) by a width of approx\' 2.7cms.
In summary, this is a stunning Art Nouveau 15ct Gold Holbein dating to c1895, set with natural Coral and fine Seed Pearls, which is of exceptional quality and condition - it is just sublime.
