This is for a superb, delightful, very early example, vintage Georg Jensen \"Kneeling Deer\" brooch. Design number 256
Designed by multi award winning Arno Malinowski (1899 -1976)for Georg Jensen. Arno Malinowski used themes from nature, creating absolutely stunning designs in his trademark signature of stylized flowers and animals combined with an Art Deco feel. His naturalistic motifs gave the feel of movement and were designed with highly polished surfaces.This detailing is simply sublime and very realistic. The delightful brooch features an open workdesignof a kneeling deer with stylized floral motifs in anovalized frame.
Hallmarked with good crisp and clear hallmarks.
