Description Afine earlyEnglish antique early 19th Century Georgiansolid sterling silver bottle coaster/teapot stand possibly by the silversmith Benjamin Montigue and with a full set of English silver hallmarks for London1804.Lovely quality genuine 213 year old sterling silverexample, (definitely not silver-plate), circular in shape with a raised flared border edge and decorated with period greek-key engraving. Has a solid wood base and it weighs a heavy approx 219 grams(in total). Has alarge handsomeperiod engraved estate/familycrest in the centre depicting a rampant lion, no monograms or initials.

MeasurementsMeasures approx.5.45inches (135mm) in diameter and is 0.7 inches (17mm) deep.

Date English antique early 19th Century Georgian solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks forLondon 1804(date letter \"I\"). Marks are rubbed but they are readable and includes the Kings head duty mark of King George the Third.

MakerSilversmiths initials rubbed \"B -\" possibly \"B.M\" (Benjamin Montigue).

ConditionGood antique condition, no splits or solder repairs and nonasty knocks or dents, slight dent on the border edge and 1 little shallow surface dent on the top,honestly nothing at all bad. The wood base is original and is undamaged.Lovely quality early silver Georgian example and with a fine period estate crest.
