Description

A Japanese Satsuma hexagonal bowl finely decorated to the outside with hanging Wisteria and to the inside with an intricate floral scene with a panel reserved in gilt enclosing a group of seated ladies - superb detail to the interior of this bowl in the style of Yabu Meizan. Gilded decoration to the rim and footrim and the characteristic finely crackled glaze is present. There is a black and gold mark to the base.

In good antique condition - there is some minor wear to the gilding on the rim.
