a very nice example of an art nouveau pewter hot water jug, it was produced in the art nouveaujugendstil secessionist era of around 1900 at the same time as the german firms of wmf,kayserzinn and orivit were producing similar pieces of art nouveau pewter, made by William haselers of Birmingham for the liberty & co tudric pewter ware range,fully marked to the base with the design number 0279 dating them to around 1903/4,the pewter is an unpolished condition and there is no loss of definition to the stylised low relief heart design with the three enamel heart plaques in good order with no chips or flakes and the intricate wicker covering to the handle is intact with no loose or missing strands,there is some discolouration to the pewter from over 100 years of use but nothing that detracts,it measures 7.5\" high to the thumber,overall condition should still be considered as superb,any questions please send an e-mail and I will get back to you.
