Fine Old Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Hat Pot Vase Signed Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Hat Pot Vase SignedDated circa 1900AD, this magnificent cylinder-form pot was used for gentlemen to place their hats, a custom starting during JiaQing Period (1796-1820AD). It was decorated in famille rose enamel with beautiful peony flowers, peach blossom and a bird perching on the branch . It is in Excellent Condition with NO crack or restoration, except for few very small flakes/chips mostly caused by bursted air bubbles. We use purple arrows to indicate their approximate location in our picture. The One purple arrow next to the window on the body indicates the very small flake/chip is on the interior side of the window. One neatly drilled hole on the bottom. It might be used as a lamp vase at one time. The pot is measured at about 11 5/16 inch tall, and 4 15/16 inch in diameter at the upper rim.
