FineEstate Chinese Hand EmbroideredMulti - Color& Multi - Paneled Silk Skirt

consists of66 different length vertical silk panels of sky blue/light turquoise, cobalt blue/teal, salad green,
lavender/purple, yellow and red, finished with a cobalt blue borders and woven silk teal colored fringes
andrichly covered with auspicious floral satin stitch embroidery in all shades of green, blue, magenta, raspberry,
lavender, purple, coral red, peach, wine red, white, orange and yellow,outlined in a gold thread couching
-Just Gorgeous !
The wide cotton waistband has one loop and two short ties.
Each vertical panel is lined in a very light sky blue silky material.
The fringes were attached to the bottom of each panel by hand.

Dated most likely back to the early Republic Period to the first half of the 20th Century.

Thewaistband is stamped with around red seal, pic.11.
There are also reminders after two paper stickers on the waistband.

The total amount of embroidered silk panels is 66 !

each of 22 panels - 37\" long x 3 1/8\" in the widest part, (11 on each side), including fringes 2\"
each of 24 panels - 19\" long x 2 1/8\" in the widest part, ( 12 on each side ), including fringes 2\"
each of 16 short figural panels - about 6\" long x 3\" in the widest part ( 8 on each side)
each of 2 wide light pink panels - 37\" long x 9 1/4\" wide in the widest part, including fringes 2\"
each of 2 shorter cobalt blue panels - 19 1/2\" long x 8 3/4\" in the widest part, including fringes 2\"

The waistband measures: 30 1/2\" long x 3\" wide

Total weight - about 2 pounds 3 oz ( unpacked)

CONDITION:
This treasureis still in excellentcondition,looks like was very gently used with a couple of faint marks
on the lining only, slightly soiled cotton waistbandand missing fringe on one red long panel, pic 12.
All front silk embroidered panels aregenerally clean and free of any visible tears, holes, missing embroidery
or any other issues, the colors of silk embroideryand textile are vivid andbright.

The piece was notcleaned and offered as found.
