Set of two fine quality Gorham sterling silver pepper shakers in the aesthetic style with Japanese themed engraving in sterling silver bearing the M date mark for 1880. As is typical with these items, each piece is different. This was the time when Gorham had some of the finest silversmiths and engravers in the world. The quality of these pieces is extraordinary.Condition is excellent. The pieces are 3 inches tall and 1⅛ inches in diameter. Combined weight is 1.59 troy ounces. There is an elegant feathered script monogram on each shaker. Both are marked on the base with the iconic Gorham lion, anchor and G and the number 1665. One has the number 59 under the date latter, the other has the number 71.Returns are accepted if there is a significant error in our description. Item must be in same condition as when shipped.
