Fine & Rare Antique Islamic Solid Silver Filigree Bracelet; Turkish Ottoman Empire c1880Skilfully hand made very fine filigree work it features an elaborate bloom as its main feature and intricate naturalistic filigree appliques all around.
It has accrued a deep dark, jewel like hue over time which cannot be replicated. It should never be polished.
In very good functional condition with the filigree almost entirely and miraculously intact. The opening and closure mechanism works properly and there is a retaining chain for additional security suspended by a small filigree pendant

Beautifully proportioned, the central flower is 42mm wide and 38mm high. The filigree appliques around the cuff are 15mm wide. The bangle has an internal diameter of between 51mm and 52mm.

It is quite heavy at 47g
