I am just starting to list items from a huge doll collectors estate. The former owner specialized in Antique French and German Dolls.

Her dolls sold at her estate sale for thousands of dollars each, some more than $10,000. I purchased all of her items she had for repairs and reproduction gowns. There are so many wonderful vintage and antique finds including, French shoe buckles, silks, taffetas and velvets from the 1800\'s to 1940\'s, ribbons, eyes, leather, wigs old and new and many custom made, a huge collection of hats, primitive gowns, jackets, antique doll jewelry and an entire lifetime collection of patterns for every imaginable French or German doll fashions. I am starting at the head with wigs and hair accessories...there\'s a lot so keep checking back.

About This Collection of 4 Wigs:

These were inside a custom made silk lined box. They are all different shades of blonde, some human hair and acrylic. She had many of her wigs \'coiffed\' in France. The longest one feels like real hair, it is beautiful and silky. It has medium length bangs in the front that sway to the sides, the hair, if the ringlets are pulled would be about 14\" but curled in drop curls, it is about 10.50\". The second one has about a 10\" length when curl is pulled but is about 6\" from middle of head to end of curl. It has the same kind of bangs, medium with a soft sweep. The third one is Real Human hair it\'s a slight strawberry blonde, kind of a long, wispy bowl cut. It is about 4-5\" all the way around with a center part. The last one is a little messy, is human and has lots of 5\" medium drop curls (measuring from center of top of head), it has shorter soft curled bangs. It is still soft but I am no wig expert so I did not brush.
