Framed Needle Treasures Cross Stitch WHO\'S THAT Cat Animal - 15 x 19 JCA New:
$79.99

Up for sale is a completed, hand crafted and framed cross stitch from the Needle Treasures Borderlines Collection of Johnson Creative Arts (JCA). This was designed by Gibson Greetings

The kit number is #03050 and the title is WHO\'S THAT. The size is 15 x 19 framed. There is a nick on the frame that will need to be touched up and there are a couple of dings to the mat - see the pictures.

It is just a charming design of a black and white cat with two butterflies surrounded by a delicate floral border!! All the kits from the JCA Borderlines Collection are wonderful compositions.

On the back there is a label indicating that this was the photo model. That means it was the initial hand crafted model from which a picture was taken that went on to kit packages which makes this very rare!

Included in this listing is a picture of the cross stitch kit. In that picture, the frame is different but the cross stitch picture is the original model for that picture. How unique!

This was a hand crafted model to a cross stitchstitchkit which would have been on display in a store to show the prospective buyers how the item will look when finished. It was covered in plastic when displayed to protect the picture and still is. I was able to acquire quite a few of them; some were just matted and others framed. This cross stitch picture has plastic covering in which I did not remove to take the picture. Please check my other listing for other completed needlepoint and cross stitch kits.

I learned recently that the name on many of these finished pieces identified the company as JCA Inc. with an address in Massachusettes. They evidently ceased operations and will not be making/distributing anymore needlecraft kits. These finished piece from kits are already hard to find and will only be offered occasionally perhaps on the internet. Per the JCA website:

\"Due to the death of our owner, Alan S. Getz, JCA, Inc. has ceased operations indefinitely.

We would like to thank our loyal customers who have supported JCA for over 50 years.

JCA manufactures premium needlecraft products and distributes fine knitting yarns. We are an amalgamation of three companies-Paternayan Brothers (started in 1939), Elsa Williams (started in 1960) and Reynolds Yarns (also started in 1960).\"

Payment with paypal within 3 days of sale.

Will ship within buiness day to US addresses only.
