Up for sale is a hand crafted, mounted and framed crewel picture.It is a charming picture of a gray kitten sitting on a table with a pot of flowers in the background. Just adorable!This is from the JCA Needle Treasures Collection designed by Lacquie Marie Vaux and the title is \"Vanessa\".Based on the kit number this dates to the 1980s and this model has been in storage for many years.In cluded in this listing is a picture of a kit for this embroidery which is shown for reference only as this does not come with a kit.This type of crewel is called \"Colorart\" because the picture is printed onto fabric and then embellished with embroidery. The kitten is done with crewel embroidery.On the back there is a label indicating this was a sales model for kit #03631. This label must have been for a different item as this title is Vanessa not Pansy Heart.The size is 9 x 11. Looks like there might be some marks on the frame that will need to be touched up.This was a hand crafted model which was done to show prospective buyers how the needlepoint will look when it is completed. This item is retired and the company is no longer producing kits as the owner had died and a decision was made to stop operations according to their web site.
