For sale is a hand painted civil war pewter collection setby Franklin Mint in 1986. There are 28pieces. Half Union and half Confederate. I am the only owner of these pieces. My grandmother purchased these for me in the80’s and I would get one mailed to me each week. I was a meticulous child and kept these infantastic condition over the last 30 years.The display case has some dings as shown in the pictures. I went through all 28 pieces and all piecesare in great shape. The only piece thatappears to have any damage is General Grant.His horse reigns are partially missing. This was only noticed because I had GeneralLee to compare it to. All soldiers have alltheir digits and weapons intact. Eachfigurine is approximately 3 inches tall.There are 14 battles or descriptions with each having a Union andConfederate soldier. These include: First Bull Run, Monitor vs. Merrimac, Shiloh,New Orleans, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Vicksburg, Chancellorsville, BrandyStation, Gettysburg, Spotsylvania, Petersburg, Confederate/Union Colorbearer,General Lee/Grant.
