This is a fine porcelain carousel made for the Franklin Mint’sCarl Faberge’ Collection in 1979. The cream colored porcelain carousel has giltpoles and a gilt placard that reads “The Jewelled Carousel” by Igor CarlFaberge’.” There are four hooks on which to hang the 14K gold brooches thatwere made for the carousel. (Please see our other listings for two of thebrooches. They are not included with the carousel listed here.)

The background is red velvet. The bottom of the carousel ismarked with a copyright symbol and “FM1979.” This is the signature for “FranklinMint” and the piece was made in 1979. The carousel measures 4 ½” tall and 3 ½”wide. It is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There aresome areas where the gilt has worn on the poles and slight table wear on thebottom of the feet.Please, look at thepictures closely to get a better idea of the overall condition.
