I am selling a Princess Diana Portrait Doll sold by the Franklin Mint. The doll comes in the original box and has a Certificate of Authenticity. However, the doll is wearing the Midnight-Blue Velvet Ball Gown made for Princess Diana dolls and also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. The doll is not wearing the clothing mentioned in the COA which came with the doll. The Midnight-Blue Velvet Ball Gown is a re-creation of the gown that Princess Diana wore at several formal occasions when she visited Bonn in West Germany; when she went to the opera; and on one of the most memorable times, when she danced an unforgettable dance with one of her favorite actors at a formal dinner in Washington, D.C. in 1985. There are no matching shoes or purse but there are the earrings and necklace which came with the outfit. There is also a tiara but I\'m not sure it is the correct one with the original ensemble. The blue from the dress has bled into some areas of the upper torso of the doll (see photos) and I\'m not sure that it can be removed. The box is in very good condition as well as the blue gown.
