This is a beautiful Set of The Franklin Mint Special Commemorative Issues 1970 First Edition Silver Coin Proofs
The Franklin Mint was commissioned by private companies and organizations to create numerous special purpose, limited edition medals. Some of these designs were selected each year to beissued as this set of Special Commemorative Issues, with the permission of the original organizations, and were then issued in a Proof set for Franklin Mint Collectors. These medals oftenrepresent major historical occasions or anniversaries and are very attractive designs. These sets were produced each year from 1970-1976. This is a full set of 21 coins as issued in 1970. All coins are sealed in the original plastic. The pics are representative of all the coins. Some of the coins have a small spot of discoloration where the seal comes together. Some of the sleeve edges have split. Being sold as a full collection only.
