Click to View Image Album One of the finest of Fred Bear Collectible bows. This Bear Signature Takedown Right Hand Re-curve Bow is serial number 001. This was the first of the Signature Fred Bear takedown bows made. The Bow is \"B\" model and it comes in the original wood case with the documentation showing that the bow was presented to Fred Sullivan in 1980. Fred Sullivan ran Bear Archery at that time. The bow has never been shot but it does show some aging and some handling dings. The two levers that lock the limbs have some pitting underneath the gold plating and the wood case has some scratches and fading. The limbs have some scuffs on the one side from careless handling. There is no delamination or checking on the limbs. There is no date under Fred\'s signature which makes it unique. The original catalog 1980 is also included showing the models and prices for the new signature line. This is a great piece of Bear Archery History and will only increase in value over the years.
