French 19th Century Violin Bow:

This is a mid-19th century French bow, iron stamped \".... Paris.\"The stamp of the maker\'s name has faded away with time.

The only visible portion of the stamp is \"Paris.\"You can see the faint \"Paris\" portion of the stamp in one of the the photos.

All parts look to be original. The ferrel, however, is missing. Mounts are nickel-silver. The wood is attractive; dark brown and reddish with black highlights.

Weight: 57 grams (as is). Length: 29 inches/73.66 cm.

Nice camber as seen in the photo. Strong stick. Once the bow has been repaired by a competent bow repair person,you will have a very nice old French bow for a very low price too!
