A very attractive French Art Nouveau silver plate pewter and glass claret or wine jug/pitcher.A stunning example of the elegant French art noveau period incorporating sinuous branches and rose motifs on the pewter top and handles which complement the swirls in the clear glass.Produce around 1900 it measures 31 cms (12 inches) from the base to the top of the handle with a diameter of 13 cms (5 inches) in the center of the bowl.This one has a small repair to the hinge and a little rupture on the metal - see photos 6 & 7
