Old Antique french plastic celluloid an exquisite, finely and delicately hand carved cross or crucifix with suspension ring in excellent undamaged condition.
The carving of grapes, vines and vine leaves, a symbol of Jesus Christ and the Christian faith. The crucifix is made from a lightweight and hollow material with grains similar to that of a piece of ivory-this not Natural Ivory!!!. This is made in material celluloid, which is first invented in 1862 and used during the Victorian era as a replacement material for ivory. The crucifix has a small loop for chain necklace. Condition- is very good with some dirt, yellow age discoloration.Come with old box.

Length:- 3.5\" with including suspension ring x 2\" width , very rare !!!!!
