An exquisite 1920s era French sterling vermeilguilloche enamel pillbox that is in excellent condition. It is stamped “E. Dreyfous” on the inside lipand also bears three tiny, illegible touch marks on one side of the lip andanother touch mark on the outside edge.The top is enamel decorated with four floral bands interspersed by palegreen guilloche. The interior has abright gold washed gleam.There is wear to the vermeil on the outside. It measures 1¼” long, 1” deep, 5/8” thick and weighs 29.5 grams.
