Introducing a charming Frenchsterling silver coffee pot, circa 1819 -1838.

Eqoiste in French meansselfish. The coffee pot holds 4/5espressos or two large coffees, accommodating an intimate number of people.

Simple elegant details on abaluster form resting on three legs.

Zoomorphic spout, modeled as aneagles head.

Ebony handle secured with apposingsilver florets.

  • Lid and neck of coffee pot Parisstandard 1819 – 1838

  • Opposing neck of the coffee pot isworn from polishing, could be Paris , 1st standard mark 1819 -1838

  • Silversmith’s mark not found.

Excellent condition,beautiful patina, few tiny dings on the underside invisible in the uprightposition, Does not detract from the beauty of this lovely intimate coffee pot, Please see photo’s.

About 196 years old.

Measures from finalto base 9 ½ inches in height, from base to the top of the handle 9 ¾ inches inheight and from handle to end of spout 7 ¼ inches across.
