SIZE: 8.5 inches high & 5-3/4 inches wide Here is a resin hand painted Road Sign that was part of the original Russian Fairytale Village Series. This is a rare item and one not familiar to many DeBrekht Collectors. This Road Sign never appeared in any of the DeBrekht catalogs, but did appear in one small brochure in 2001. It was introduced in 2001, but was retired in 2002. This Road Sign could be used with any village collection or would compliment a collection of DeBrekht Santas. The small plaque can personalized with a Sharpie pen. G. DeBrekht Artistic Studios began bringing hand-made treasures to the world in the mid 1990s. The Derevo Series - the Russian word for wood - was introduced in 2000. All of the exquisite designs in this series are made in a special blend of wood-based resin material. Each Derevo piece is cast from an original mould of a hand carved item. The bottom of the Road Sign is hand signed by Andrej Gabricht, the artist owner and designer of G. DeBrekht Studios. The Road Sign is in perfect condition - from store inventory. Never displayed. PLEASE NOTE: The Road Sign will come in its original packaging, which is a styrofoam type box. The styrofoam box shows shelf wear and multiple tapings around the box. It\'s not fancy. It did not come in a DeBrekht cardboard box.
