On offer today is a quite superb set of 3 dinner forks in Old English pattern. Assayed in London by John Lias. Theyare dated 1814-year letters S/T.Hallmarks are deep and clear. Their length is unusually large at 8.625 inches. Collectively theyweigh a hefty 160 grams (5.14 troy ounces) and each piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout.They havegreat tineswith virtually no wear and are of perfect shape. They are engraved to the back with initial H in fancy script and always have been,definitely no erasures either.

Afunctional late George III lot in this highly popular pattern.
