First date on trophy is 1929. It was ultimately won by E. D. (Edwin Dawes) Teague, at the Rye Country Club, in New York.
Mr. Teague won the golf trophy 3 years in a row, lastly in 1934, thereby getting to keep it. It is sterling silver, 3 antler handles, engraved, weighs 2 lbs. 11 ounces. 7-7/8 pint. Dimensions: 7.5” tall, 5-3/4” diameter. See pics for hallmarks on bottom. Inside has not been polished.
