GREAT RUNNING SWISS-MADE ORIS WWII-ERA MILITARY-STYLE WATCH.

This 7-jewel wonder winds, sets and runs flawlessly, keeps accurate time and has very lively amplitude.

ORIGINAL never-refinished dial is in remarkably good condition for a watch of this vintage and provenance. There is next to no signs of aging. No patina. No age spots. No breaks to the finish. As badly damaged as the acrylic crystal is, it has done a remarkable job keeping dirt and moisture from marring the dial. Steel blued hands are also in excellent shape. Dial signed “SWISS MADE.”

As can be seen in the photos, the crystal is a prime candidate for replacement.

The chromium plated case is signed “OWC” (Oris Watch Company) on the inside of the back. The case features a screw-down back and, in general, is in lousy cosmetic condition. Nonetheless, it has done an amazing job of protecting the movement over the decades. Crown, which appear to be original, is in good shape.
