For your consideration, this is a painting by Quebec\'s Artist Gabrielle Fortin painted for the Greater Montreal Hotel Association 50th Anniversary (1949-1999)

It comes with its own certificate of authenticity as well as the Official logo of the Association in the back.

The painting itself is 4 1/2\" x 3 3/4\"

The frame is 12 1/2\" x 11 1/5\"

The scene represents the actual Casino of Montreal (Former Pavillion of Canada during EXPO 67) with Montreal\'s landmark downtown buildings

For a biography (sorry I could only find it in French) Fortin is known for her hyper-real paintings, several of them can be seen in and around Montreal Hotels

This particular piece has a brass plaque engraved as follow: A.H.G.M. 1949-1999 (Association des Hotels du Grand Montreal)
