Genuine 17th/18th century Tunisian glazed ceramic tile Ottoman- Rare. Beautiful:

This is a genuine Ottoman tile fragment from Tunisia. It dates to the 17th or 18th century.It measures 16 cm by 14.2 cm and is 2 cm in depth.It is very beautiful as can be seen, the glaze is exquisite with vibrant turquoise, green and blues- the design is based on the Cornflower. There are imperfections in the glaze- a result of the manufacturing process, there is also gorgeous age related iridescence to the surface. It has damage to one corner as can be seen.
