this is a genuine old carved eskimo inuit figure, its a very stylised bird figure, it measures about 19.5cm long, 8.5cm high, and it weighs about 738 grams. ive just noticed some faint scratched numbers or letters, possibly DD 375 very difficult to make them out, info welcome on possible carver, it has original sticker on the base as seen. one of the best ive seen, very simple and stylised carving, surely a very rare example worthy of further research.PLEASE NOTE I WILL BE AWAY FROM THE 2ND AUGUST UNTIL THE 1OTH AUGUST - I WILL TRY MY BEST TO ANSWER EMAILS, BUT ITEMS WILL BE POSTED WEEK COMMENCING THE 11TH AUGUST, COLLECTION WELCOME FROM THE 10TH AUGUST ONWARDS.
