This souvenir from the 1933 Chicago Century of Progress World\'s Fair comes with a photographic copy of letters attesting to the authenticity of the cross section of rail split by Abraham Lincoln from the Lincoln Farm in Coles County, IL. There is also a California redwood business card that was in the envelope. Since the rail section seems to be mounted on a redwood plaque, this may have been a promotional item from the California Redwood Association.
