A fine high quality antique silver Vinaigrette dating from George 111 period 1803 , the item in beautiful condition with a unusual 8 sided design the upper and lower faces with fine chased detail , a fantastic looking piece, it has foliate scenes to the outside lid ,the base with sectional detail .The lid a good fit the hinge in good condition,the inside grill in simple detail with small pierced holes ,this hinge also in good working condition and fitting well . The vinaigrette is approx 2 cm wide x 11.25 mm high with dome design to lid and base ,the inside is fully hallmarked for S.P .Birmingham .date letter f = 1803 . duty mark . sterling , the weight is approx 7.2 gr complete with its original sponge , it is sold as found .a beautiful item for a display ,to complete a set / collection . ideal gift for a collector ,the coin next to it is a UK 50 p Please take a look at pictures ,the good clear photos which show the detail. sold as found .
