Up for sale: A nice personally autographed GEORGE BUSH LIBRARY EGG for the 2003 ANNUAL Easter EGG HUNT held at the GEORGE BUSH LIBRARY in COLLEGE STATION, Texas. The egg hunt started as an annual tradition in April 1999. It has been held each year since. Thus far, 30 different eggs have been issued to date. Two different colors per year. The first five years\' event eggs had a representation of a cute bunny, child, or duckling. Starting with the 6th Annual Hunt, each egg has a theme representative of the Library\'s visiting attraction that year. Some years, the eggs had sponsor stamps on the back, others did not.Starting in 1999, Former President Bush would personally sign a limited number of eggs to be inserted into treat bags that are randomly given to the children (ages 7 and under) that attend the Library Easter Egg Hunt Event. He signed eggs until the 2007 event when it became difficult for him to do so any longer. What makes this egg extra special is that in 2003 HW and the Former First Lady, Barbara, BOTH signed the egg.
The egg pictured is theexact egg that you will receive. The egg has been kept well protected in storage for all of these years. It is now 10 years old!
This will make a great keepsake for any collector of Presidential artifacts, George HW Bush autographs, or even the beloved Library Easter Egg collector who wants to add that ultra rare egg to their collection.If you have any questions or need any other pics, please ask.
