I have a magnificent hand carved antique Black forest, silk lined Jewelery box. This is a rare piece, the carving on it is fantastic. Its 8\" long, 5 wide, and 7\" tall. I have no key but i dont think it would be hard to find.
The mother dove watches over her baby on the top and its wrapped in vines and leaves, and mushrooms. The carving on this is first rate. This was carved from a solid block of walnut. amazing. . see in the one photo what looks like a very tiny leaf tip missing. Personally i think it was carved this way, but only my opinion. Just being thorough.
