"georgian Solid Silver Nutmeg Grater" Birmingham 1790 Samuel Pemberton For Sale
"Georgian Solid Silver Nutmeg Grater" Large SizeIt is fully English hallmarked for Birmingham 1790 and the makers mark is "S.P" for Samuel Pemberton a fine silversmith of the era. The grater is in very good condition (there are a couple of minor dents commensurate with its age and use) and the lids open and close securely. It is decorated with an engraved floral pattern on both lids and an engraved with a pattern around the waist. It measures 41mm x 32mm x 30mm and it weighs a heavy 34.6 grams. A superb antique silver nutmeg grater which would make a fine addition to any decent collection. Please view my other sales as I am listing another silver nutmeg grater.
