You are offerding on a superb solid silver Georgian Mug or Tankard which measures approximately 3 1/2 inches or 89 mm across from the handle to the front of the body by just under 2 1/2 inches or 63 mm across the width or diameter of its foot rim from side to side. Stands 3 inches or 76 mm tall and weighs 119.3 grams of sterling silver. Approximate liquid capacity of 7 fluid ounces or 200 ml. It is engraved with a previous owners dated inscription on the underside of its body or base as shown in photo.Full set of English sterling silver hallmarks that read as follows:RE over EB-Lion Passant-Crowned Leopard Head- P - King George HeadRE over EB is the London silversmith or makers mark of Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard whose mark is recorded as being used from 1808 to 1827. The Lion Passant is the mark of English 925 standard sterling silver. The Crowned Leopard Head is the Georgian mark of the London assay office. The letter P is the dated letter for 1810 and the King George Head is the duty mark of the reigning monarch.The condition is used and excellent for its age of over 200 years! No large dents, no splits, no cracks, no holes or repairs. The silver hallmarks are partially worn but still mostly legible. Minor surface marks and wear from use but mostly excellent condition.
