- Offered here is a very desirable set of of Pixie Girl bookends.
- Circa 1920s
- They had celluloid faces.
- There are no shop marks.
- This is the larger and more sophisticated of two similar designed bookendsfrom that era.
- These are attributed to the J.B. Hirsch Company.
- This paint on this set is original and excellent. There is only one spot of thevery corner of one the books where there is any missing paint - see photo 8.
- Best paint I have seen on these. Take a good look at the photos for condition and details.
- No damage. No repairs.
- This set is very desirable to Gerdago collectors.
- The figurines have a slight wobble. They are bolted to the marble base from underneath Totighten, one would have to remove the original felt.
- The bookends are 7-1/8 inches tall and 6-1/4 inches long. The pair weigh 6 pounds 13 ounces
