This is a VERY OLD, Antique GERMAN Teddy or Soft Doll. Estimated date is 1910 as it came over from Germany and has been passed down in the family and that\'s the closest date we can determine. It is 100% cotton and the fabric has faint red lines throughout. It is so old that the face is worn off except for the smile, there are brown stains in places and some slight tears and little holes. It still has all the original stuffing. Although I would not let a child play with this, due to it\'s age and delicate condition, it is a great \"true antique\" to display in a home.
