A nice original issued type Kaiser Wilhelm centenary medal.This medal was awarded to all serving soldiers and civil servants on the occasion of what would have been the first Kaiser\'s 100th birthday. There are multiple versions with minor variations, this is the original award type with a piece of original ribbon, scarce to find. The image of the Kaiser is very detailed as you can see. The award is commonly seen on WW1 medal bars. It comes in a number of variations and there smaller or \"prinzen\" sized examples as well. The medals were made from captured Austrian, Danish and French cannon.Very good condition, scarce original award ribbon.Original.
