Imperial Germany. Prussia. Non Commissioned Officer, Line Infantry pickelhaube. Mod 1891-1895 haube. Small size, approx size 54. Probably private purchase. Officer quality silk and leather liner. Mod 1891 chinstrap posts. Officer quality helmet plate in gilded brass with screw post attachments and voided crown. Front and rear visors lined in red (back) and green (front) leather. Rear visor with officer style stitched brim. Minor surface crazing. The photos add to the description. Imperial and State EMs cockades bear evidence of light repainting. A nice solid \'haube. Display head not part of the lot.
