This is a Lore Blumenkinder figurine.Lore figurines were all made in editions of 2000 pieces. Created from 1963 through 1980. This particular figurine is from the very last edition, Edition #7 that consisted of 6 different types of figurines. This figurine is numbered 594/2000 and was made in 1980. He is entitled, Happy Sailing.Outstanding workmanship with tiny hand-applied porcelain flowers are the characteristics of these beautiful collectibles. All Lore Blumenkinder figurines are designed as children in various stages of play.He stands 5 3/4\" tall and4\" diameter base.He has a teddy bear along with a boat at his knees with tiny flowers sprinkled around the base. He\'s holding a greenish colored boat with a sweet smile on his face.He is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. See pictures. This particular one is hard to find.
