Up for offer is a decorative plate byL. S. Sazaret LimogesFrance.The plate has dusty blue flowers that somewhat resemble hydrangeas and mossgreen ferns, over a white background. I believe it is transfer ware. Thislovely plate has a relief of scrolling and leaves that extend 1-inch to therim. The rim itself is gold trimmed but the bulk of the relief is white. Thefinish is a high glaze.

The piece is stamped beneath theglaze in red ink, L. Sazerat Limoges that is inside a circle and has a star inthe center. Printed in green ink, LIMOGES France, with a star at the top andsome type of skewed squiggly design.

This footed platemeasures9½”across, and has about a ¼” foot.

There are three barely there chipson the underside of the rim. All are about the width of a pinhead and thethickness of a fish scale-see photos. Otherwise, this gorgeous plate is inexcellent, barely (if ever) used condition.
