You offer for the following item:This is a Khanjar from the United Arab Emirates with a presentation case and a pin. Handle and sheath are beautifully and rich silver mounted and gilded. Maybe some parts of the Dagger are made of solid gold. The backside of the sheath is covered with felt. The dagger has a beautiful blade damascened with little brass points and a nice midrib. The sheath is decorated with a elaborate metal embroidery. This dagger was a present from the military committee CODEX in the Arab Emirates, which shows the badge in the case. A small pin from this committee is included, too. The presentation case is covered with red silk and has a window made of Plexiglas. The inscription of the badge is: \"United Arab Emirates\" and \"Presented By The Military Committee For International Defence Exhibitions (CODEX)\". An extremely rare and beautiful presentation dagger.
