Up for sale is a very nice 1936 GilletteAristocrat De Luxe open comb safety razor set. The razor and the case are both in very good condition, and show only minor signs of wear from the past 80 years. All of the original gold plating is still mostly intact. The razor functions exactly as it was designed. The open comb teeth are straight. The twist-to-open (TTO) mechanism is tight and synchronized properly with the butterfly doors. And, most importantly -- the razor provides an exquisite shave. I describe the shaving experience of this model to feel like rubbing velvet over your skin. It is incredible!
Included with this set is the gold plated Aristocrat open comb safety razor, the original gold plated De Luxe travel case, and three vintage Gillette blades.
As noted above, the razor shows only minor signs of wear. Please see the photographs as part of the description.
